Work Accomplished

This animation was created using Houdini as a base tool.
The animations of the Eggs are done with Math Expressions and Blend Shapes.
Each facehugger is Rigged with Houdini Bones.
The Bones are then animated using Math Expressions.
The facehugger is added to a particle simulation.
The particle simulation is mapped to an egg animation.
The egg and facehugger group is then added to another particle system.
This particle system is matched to the ground plane.
All of the textures are based on custom maps.
Many other steps to final, but this is the basics.
Final comps done in After Effects.
